Follow a book of instruction and assemble them accordingly. Joint the paddle on the top of the structure with wood screw and a spring to make the sounds. And it’s ready to go.
Or you can try the mouth call. They are a bit tricky to make, but easy once you get the hold of it. You’ll need a thin metal plate, gloves and waterproof tape. First, cut the metal in the according shape instructed. Use a latex glove to cut out a 2 by 1 inch rectangle. Use a sharp blade to get a smooth edge. It’ll work as the latex reed. Then lay the metal frame on it. Bend the tab to lock the frame. Get a 3 layer thick waterproof tape by layering them over, make it 3 inches long. Place the frame over it; try to make the placement as exact possible. Then stretch the latex out and stick it to the tape. You’ll want to make it a bit tight to make it sound it better, since it’s actually a musical instrument, but don’t overstretch it. After folding it, shape it to the size that conforms to your mouth. And now you have your own homemade turkey call.
